Climate
In October and November, on the Caribbean side: 26 to 31 °C, a dry and bright season, with the occasional tropical shower late in the day. The humidity is part of the journey — the body adjusts within two days.
Money & connectivity
Currency: the Costa Rican colón. Euros can be exchanged at the airport and cards are accepted everywhere. There is wifi on site, deliberately modest — you'll be able to call home every day.
Time difference
−8h from France. The first two mornings are easy: the body wakes naturally before sunrise. It's the best moment of the day here.
